The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA), Mr Des van Rooyen will officially hand over the book on Customary Law of Succession and Genealogy of the Bakoena Ba Mopeli Kingship Royal Family.

The event to officially launch this important book will be attended by dignitaries within and outside South Africa. The dignitaries who will be joining Minister van Rooyen, include the Premier of the Free State, the MEC of CoGTA and His Majesty, King Letsie III from the Kingdom of Lesotho.
Also present will be the leadership of both the Thabo Mofutsanyane District and Maluti a Phofung Local Municipalities.
Minister van Rooyen’s visit to Maluti A Phofung Local Municipality:
In addition, on Tuesday (26 September 2017) – Minister van Rooyen and MEC of CoGTA, Mme Sisi Ntombela will meet with the leadership of the Maluti a Phofung Local Municipality. The meeting will look at the work of the Municipality and how the rest of government can support to ensure improved service delivery to communities.
