Local Government Says NO to Corruption!

Posted on Posted in Featured News

The most widely accepted definition of ‘Corruption’ is that it is a practice of abusing public office/funds for private gain.

Consequences of Corruption can be far reaching and can hinder people’s access to basic services and economic opportunities.

Rampant corruption erodes all tenants of a progressive democracy. For South Africa to successfully implement the National Development Plan #NDP2030, we need to strive towards an accountable state and zero-tolerance of corruption.

We all have a responsibility to prevent, act upon and report corruption. To report acts of corruption or fraud, dial the toll-free number 0800 701 701.
