Minister Richard Baloyi to meet all municipalities that failed to get clean audits
Minister Richard Baloyi will be meeting with all municipalities that have not achieved unqualified audits for the past four financial years. The meeting is aimed at addressing issues that are common to these municipalities and contribute to them not achieving clean audits.

The minister will be accompanied by the auditor-general,minister of Finance and Performance Monitoring and Evaluation minister.

MISA suppliers registration now open

The Municipal Infrastructure Support Agency (MISA), a new government entity under the Department of Cooperative Governance, invites service providers and suppliers to register on its database of suppliers and service providers for the 2013/14 financial year. MISA promotes B-BBEE initiatives and encourages SMMEs to apply.

COGTA Minister Richard Baloyi’s visits to provinces start in earnest
