It is with considerable regret that the Ministry of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs accepts the resignation of Director General Elroy Africa. We are grateful for the contribution he has made since joining the Department in 1998.
In our discussions with him, we had to acknowledge that 13 years of service to the government as a senior official constitutes a significant period, and Mr Africa's desire to pursue other intellectual and personal interests is understandable.
We have no doubt that he will do well in his future endeavours and we certainly wish him well.
