Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Richard Baloyi will this evening attend a special council meeting of Lesedi Local Municipality where interventions to resolve Rathanda community problems will be announced.

Following various meetings between government and the Heidelberg’s community of Ratanda, this evening’s council meeting is expected to outline government interventions to restore public order and respond to service delivery challenges that have been linked to the recent violent protest.
