Minister Tsenoli Takes Government to the People of Middelburg Through MinMec

Middelburg, so named (in 1866) because it is relatively the mid-way point between Pretoria and Lydenburg, is the centre of Steve Tshwete Local Municipality (STLM) which came into being in December 2000.

It is here, on 15 November, that the next in a series of ongoing engagements between the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (Cogta), Lechesa Tsenoli and various provincial MECs responsible for municipal government structures will take place.
