The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA), Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma will on 10 July 2019 deliver the CoGTA budget vote. The Minister will be supported by Deputy Ministers of CoGTA Mr Obed Bapela and Mr Parks Tau.
The budget vote follows a two-day strategic planning session that Minister and Deputy Ministers held with the senior managers across the departments and entities reporting to the CoGTA Ministry. The outcomes of the two-day strategic planning session, will inform the priorities to be announced in the CoGTA Budget Vote Speech on the 10th of July 2019.
The address by Minister and Deputy Ministers will reflect on progress achieved thus far arising from the previous plans; the current work that CoGTA is undertaking including the 2018/19 plans, especially those focusing on turning around dysfunctional municipalities and the interventions in other areas within the portfolio.
