KwaZulu-Natal to Receive Humanitarian Aid From the Government of the United Arab Emirates

The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA), Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma and KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) MEC for Social Development, Mrs Nonhlanhla Khoza will receive the much-needed humanitarian aid from the government and the people of United Arab Emirates.

Ambassador H.E. Mahash Saeed Alhameli will on behalf of the Government of the United Arab Emirates hand over the donation to the South African government.

The donation is to support those affected by the recent floods that devastated the province of KwaZulu Natal.

The humanitarian aid by the Government of the United Arab Emirates which comprise mainly of foodstuff consignment is a much welcome gesture of solidarity and a reaffirmation of the triumphant human spirit in the midst of unprecedented disaster.

This humanitarian support speaks to the cordial relations that exist between our country and the UAE.
