The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA) will on behalf of the South African government receive a consignment of humanitarian aid from the Republic of Mozambique.
Minister Dlamini Zuma will be accompanied by the representative of the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) provincial government. The much-needed humanitarian aid will be handed over by High Commissioner H.E. Paulino J Macaringue from the Republic of Mozambique.
The humanitarian donation follows the devastation experienced in KwaZulu-Natal province due to the recent floods which left a trail of destruction, with many people homeless and some displaced.
The donation of humanitarian aid by the Republic of Mozambique comprises primarily of foodstuff consignments that will surely bring relief to the communities.
