Minister Nkadimeng To Address The 5th SALGA Local Government Professionalisation Indaba

The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA), Ms Thembisile Nkadimeng will address the 5th SALGA Local Government Profressionalisation Indaba convened under the theme – “Strong Partnerships for Restoring Trust in A Capable and Developmental Local Government: A Clarion Call to Drive the Local Government Professionalisation Agenda”.
The Indaba draws from successes recorded by various role-players towards professionalisation of local government, emerging trends, opportunities as well as the persistent threats to an ethical, capable and development oriented local government. 
The Indaba will see delegates from municipalities, professional bodies, institutions of higher learning, SETAs and government departments gather under one roof to confront the agenda over the three days. Also present will be Municipal Managers, Head of Department for Corporate Services, DGs and DDGs of provincial COGTAs, NGOs and CBOs in the local government space, human capital thought leaders and organised labour.
