The Deputy Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA), Prince Zolile Burns-Ncamashe will undertake a series of visits to various Traditional Leaders across the country from 31 March to 17 April 2023.
The visits by Deputy Minister Burns-Ncamashe follow his appointment and are meant not only to introduce himself but also to engage traditional leaders on issues of importance. The visits also speak to the importance and the role traditional leaders play in our democracy as custodians of culture and tradition.
The Deputy Minister will also through this visit, build stronger relations with all traditional leaders and their councils so as to work together for the development of communities and to address their needs.
Deputy Minister Burns-Ncamashe will kick-start the series of engagements with a visit to the Mngqesha Great Palace in Buffalo City Municipality where he will meet with his majesty King Jonguxolo Mvuseleli Sandile.
