Deputy Minister Tau is today participating at the Executive Leadership Programme (ELP) hosted by National Treasury, through its City Support Programme under the theme themed “Navigating the storms: Building capable and resilient cities”.

The programme, which is targeted at the political and administrative leadership in the 8 metros, takes place when where most of the metros are faced with leadership and service delivery challenges.

The ELP is convened as a platform to make sense of the current context, extract lessons from what is being done to date in South Africa and other parts of the world and use the participants’ individual and collective agency to bring forth new, innovative, pragmatic and implementable solutions, whilst remaining in touch with citizen needs and aspirations.
