The Deputy Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Mr Parks Tau, will participate at the upcominig Institute of Municipal People Practitioners of Southern Africa (IMPSA) 38th Annual Conference. The conference is hosted under the theme “Working towards an ideal municipality” and seeks to support the call to improve the quality of service delivery in the Local Government sphere.

Scheduled to convene delegates from numerous municipalities across South Africa, this conference will bring together a diverse assembly of professionals, including Human Resources officials, Managers, Directors, Councillors, and Mayors.

The agenda for the conference aims to address the pressing challenges faced by municipalities and explore innovative solutions to enhance their performance. While the list of areas to be explored is extensive, some of the focal points include:
