DEPUTY MINISTER DR MASEMOLA OF COGTA TO PARTICIPATE IN PANEL DISCUSSION AT THE SALGA NMA ON LOCAL GOVERNMENT REFORM

The Deputy Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA) Dr Namane Dickson Masemola will participate in a panel discussion at the SALGA National Members Assembly on Local Government Reform.

The discussion will centre on strengthening local government performance, improving service delivery, and advancing reforms that support economic growth under the theme “Enhancing economic growth and sustainable service delivery through effective local government reform.”

The Deputy Minister will use this platform to highlight COGTA’s role in driving local government renewal, the White Paper Review, professionalising Local government, improving service delivery, strengthening governance, and advancing the District Development Model.
