What is CWP?

CWP is an innovative offering from government intended to provide a job safety net for unemployed people of working age. Over the years CWP has grown and currently has a database of no less than 255 000 participants.

is integral in the implementation of the District Development Model (DDM) as it enables local economic development and skilling initiatives as well as service delivery.

What is CWP Reimagined?

CWP has been reimagined for greater impact, emphasising smart partnerships for artisan and enterprise development, targeting youth as key beneficiaries.

What are key Pillars of CWP?

The aim is to deliver useful work that supports service delivery and builds community assets through strong partnerships, both intergovernmental and corporate.
